1. Use of the Service

You may use SocialSweep only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.

2. User Accounts

To access key features, you'll need to create an account and connect your social profiles. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials. You're responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Data We Collect

Personal Data: We collect your name, email, and metadata from connected social accounts (e.g., follower data, job titles, interests).

Non-Personal Data: We collect cookies, analytics, and usage metrics to improve our service.

Your data is used solely to enhance your search experience. We never resell or publicly share your personal information. See our Privacy Policy for details.

4. How the Service Works & Limitations

When you type a natural-language query like "Who in my network runs a podcast?", our algorithms scan your connected platforms to identify relevant people and relationships based on metadata you've authorized. We can't guarantee full results if data is restricted by a platform or user privacy settings.

5. Intellectual Property

All software, content, branding, and trademarks on the platform are owned by SocialSweep or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written consent.

6. Cancellation Policy

To cancel your subscription, you must send a cancellation request via email to support@socialsweep.ai at least 30 days prior to your next billing date. Cancellation requests received less than 30 days before the billing date will take effect at the end of the following billing cycle. You will continue to have access to the Service until the end of your current billing period.

Refunds: Refunds are processed according to our refund policy. Please contact support@socialsweep.ai for refund inquiries.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee error-free or uninterrupted performance. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SocialSweep shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we believe your use violates these Terms or risks the security or experience of other users. Upon termination, you must stop using the Service, and we may delete or anonymize your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes will be handled exclusively in Canadian courts.

10. Updates to the Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. If significant changes occur, we'll notify users by email. Continued use of SocialSweep after updates constitutes your acceptance.
